To complement bedside teaching, the clinical examination for finals tutorials focus on slick performance of the examination in the key systems, highlighting the important signs to be picked up during examination and how to discuss the relevance of these findings. There is a strong focus on techniques for presenting your findings and the key aims of the sessions are to improve the student’s knowledge and confidence around the clinical examinations. Tutors will teach small groups of around ten students to allow for active discussions and interaction.
